Article Submission Guidelines for International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ)

The International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) published by Intuition Communication Ltd provides insight into the medical travel and medical tourism sector, and welcomes articles and contributions from all within the industry.

Our medical tourism articles and features are written by some of the leading experts on medical tourism.

  • Customer care

 

Guidelines for articles

  • Articles must be original and contain up-to-date information on the topic.

  • Articles must be non-promotional. We do not accept articles that, in essence, promote the services or offering of a specific company, destination or organisation. We do not accept advertorial articles.

  • Simultaneous submission to another journal must be approved by IMTJ.

  • Authors should contact the editor prior to submission to ensure that the proposed topic and content is appropriate for the journal.

  • Articles should include references where appropriate, particularly to any source data or materials.

 

Format

  • All articles must be submitted as a Microsoft Word documents

  • Articles should be between 750 and 1500 words in length.

  • Images and charts can be incorporated; their inclusion is encouraged. These should provided in jpg format.

  • Articles should include a 60-80 word profile of the author.

 

Article submission process

Articles should be submitted via the article submission form or by email to editorial@imtjonline.com.

 

Conditions of publication

Intuition Communication Ltd reserves the right to reject any article at any time after submission. 

  • Payment will not be made to authors, unless this has been agreed prior to publication.

  • Our editorial staff  may  edit articles to meet our to house style or to improve presentation to the reader.

  • Proofs (in the form of a private web page) will normally be notified prior to publication.

  • Intuition Communication Ltd reserve the right to re-use a published article in printed form or on-line within 12 months from the initial publication.
