European Air Ambulance is a high quality service provider for worldwide Air Ambulance repatriation. Founded 40 years ago by DRF Luftrettung and Luxembourg Air Rescue (Ducair), it has an enviable track record of medical repatriation from over 150 countries worldwide, giving EAA one of the broadest experience bases in the Air Ambulance industry.

EAA's network of international co-operation agreements ensures speedy and smooth execution of intensive care transports with bed-to-bed service. Specialised, multi-lingual staff at the Mission Control Centre (MCC) can handle everything from quote to invoice and coordinates a fleet of 6 Air Ambulance aircraft; 5 Learjets 35A and 1 Beechcraft King Air 200. All aircraft are fitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies to ensure the best possible patient care in the air.

All EAA missions are staffed by an experienced intensive care medical team consisting of 1 physician and 1 flight nurse/paramedic. The MCC coordinators can choose the physician from a large pool of anaesthetists, neonatologists, gynaecologists or other specialists, depending on the patient’s needs.

Air ambulance repatriation

A fleet of aircraft with state-of-the-art medical equipment and all necessary medication, able to repatriate intensive care patients from all over the world.

Medical clearance

A pre-flight medical clearance with a physician-to-physician consultation is included in all Air Ambulance flights.

Double stretcher in air ambulance

EAA has full double stretcher Air Ambulance aircraft able to transport 1 intensive care and 1 lying patient or 2 lying patients.

Organ transplant logistics

EAA can pick up your medical team with an appropriate aircraft from your hospital, fly them to the hospital where the organ awaits collection and back to the receiving hospital for the final operation.

Neonatal / incubator transport

Combining intensive care and paediatrics, neonatology involves the specialist care of newborn and/or premature babies, invariably using an incubator.

Rescue helicopters

EAA can organise transfers using fully equipped rescue helicopters.

Medical escort on scheduled airlines

Working closely with major airlines, EAA can organise the repatriation of your patient either on a stretcher or as a sitting patient in a specified service class.

The EAA fleet comprises six air ambulance aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and all necessary medication to ensure best patient care. They can be considered as flying intensive care units ready to be called on to perform a mission day or night.
