Sarah has more than 10 years’ experience working within the private healthcare sector, in a variety of marketing and business development roles, predominantly specialising in digital media.
She has been influential in creating a culture of excellence within organisations and is an advocate of improving communication internally and externally.
Sarah’s current role as Head of Operations at Intuition Communication encompasses digital and traditional marketing, business development, project management, and day-to-day operational responsibility. She is responsible for the effective project management of major marketing and web projects, and is the Event Director for two annual events organised by Intuition; the IMTJ Medical Travel Summit and Awards, and the Private Healthcare Summit.
Intuition is a specialist publisher of consumer and business-to-business information on private healthcare and medical travel. The company operates consumer-facing health and medical tourism portals such as Treatment Abroad, International Medical Travel Journal, Private Healthcare UK, and HarleyStreet.com. Sarah was involved in the original development of Private Healthcare UK (first launched in 1997), and subsequently managed the development of web sites such as The Harley Street Guide and GoPrivate.com.
Intuition publishes regular surveys and reports, and undertakes bespoke research and consultancy projects on behalf of private healthcare providers, medical travel businesses, destinations and healthcare event organisers. Sarah has managed projects and research initiatives such as the Medical Tourism Climate Survey, bespoke market research on behalf of clients such as Dubai Health Authority, and consultancy and marketing initiatives for Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council and the Lisbon Tourist Board.
