Medical tourism numbers in

In 2011 Professor Salaheddine Slaoui, a surgeon in Rabat, estimated there were up to 1,200 cosmetic surgeries per month in Morocco with up to 15% of the clients coming from abroad. This would give Morocco 2,000 medical tourists a year. Since then it has suffered from political problems so numbers have dropped to 1,000 or less, but may recover with stability.
