According to the Ministry of Health in 2014, 4000 Yemenis go to Jordan, 4000 go to Egypt, and between 1,000 and 2,000 go to other countries every year looking for medical treatment, totalling 10,000 outbound year. The government spends 30% of the healthcare budget on sending people overseas.
