Bupa Dental Care buys nine practices in UK and Ireland

Bupa has pursued an aggressive growth strategy in the dental care market since completion of its £835m takeover of Oasis Dental Care in 2017. In the last six months it has acquired 23 practices, taking its portfolio to around 470 practices with over 2,000 dentists and more than 5,000 practice staff.

Bupa Dental Care has continued to expand with the acquisition of nine practices across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

The new sites include practices in London, Poole, Halifax, Leeds and the South Coast, as well as a dental and implant clinic in Chatham, Kent and the acquisition of Belfast Orthodontics, which operates two practices in Northern Ireland, offering referrals for both NHS and private patients.
