Georgia’s GHG reports 13.3% revenue increase


Revenue for GHG in 3Q18 reached GEL 202.9m, up from GEL 179.1m for the same period last year.

EBITDA increased by 25.4% from 3Q17 to reach GEL 32.7m in the third quarter, propped up mainly by the company’s healthcare division which contributed 54% to the total with a 24.3% EBITDA margin.

The Georgian operator said its healthcare business results are 'consistently improving', growing by 13.5% on last year.

It reported modest revenue growth of 2% for its medical insurance business but said it had delivered a strong third quarter to reach GEL 14.2m.

GHG operates hospitals and pharma services alongside its health insurance business.
