Health City Cayman Islands deals with neighbouring islands

Health City Cayman Islands has done deals with several islands to send state and/or insurer sponsored patients for treatment.

The latest is with the Health Ministry of the British Virgin Islands with an agreement to send between 300 and 500 patients of the national health agency and local insurers each year to Health City Cayman Islands instead of flying them to Miami. The attraction is lower prices than in the USA. Most will be for cardiac surgery while others will be for:

  • spine surgery
  • neurosurgery
  • orthopaedic treatment

Health City has similar deals with Turks and Caicos Islands, St. Martin, Antigua and Jamaica.

The target is all 31 local islands and healthcare systems. Deals are being negotiated with Montserrat, Anguilla, St Kitts and Honduras.
