Increasing popularity of WTTC’s Safe Travels stamp

WTTC launched the world’s first ever global safety and hygiene mark, the Safe Travels stamp, to restore traveller confidence and revive the global tourism sector.

Increasing numbers of destinations around the world are adopting the stamp, with Chile, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Belize, Dominica, Nicaragua, and Uzbekistan the latest to sign up. Other major popular holiday hot spots using the stamp are Egypt, Turkey, Portugal, Argentina, Tunisia, and Indonesia.

The protocols were designed following guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
