Insurer owned agency expands offerings in Bangladesh


GD Assist is a Bangladesh based full service medical tourism agency owned by local insurance company Green Delta Insurance.

It offers more than a normal agency as it has launched second opinion medical services for people in Bangladesh, provided by phone by US based company Assist America.

GD Assist was launched in 2014 to sell medical tourism from Bangladesh to Malaysia for customers of Green Delta and other. Green Delta even offers a high end health insurance that covers treatment in Malaysia.

GD Assist now has partnerships with hospitals in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and India. It is the official local representative of Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council in Bangladesh.

GD Assist provides state-of-the-art post-operative consultations for its clients and stays in touch with them after their treatment. It even has its own IATA-approved travel agent subsidiary which a full-fledged travel agency offering tour ticketing, visa application and assistance, hotel booking and travel packages.
