Vaidam is an ISO certified healthcare discovery platform that connects people within and beyond India with medical experts, hospitals, wellness options, and travel partners in India to help identify and make the right healthcare choices.
Medical tourists can search for hospitals in India to treat cancer and ailments of the heart, bones or kidney, read about them, view photographs of the facilities at the hospitals and the places at which the hospitals are located, check the cost of treatment and see what other patients have to say.
Vaidam concierges assist patients to get medical Visa to travel to India, with airline fares and arrangements for their stay. They also help with daily travel, language, and food concerns. All of Vaidam’s services are free of cost to patients.
Having raised funds from 4CE in Singapore in March 2016 the owners launched Vaidam Health in May 2016. It aims to be the go-to place for people seeking treatment abroad. Currently it is focused on patients travelling to India.
The agency has deals with 70 hospitals in India and has already hosted patients from more than 20 countries, including from the African and Australian regions. It has also tied with partners in more than 10 countries, including Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Fiji, for referring patients.
Based out of Gurgaon, Vaidam intends to strengthen channels in Africa and add new source countries in the Middle East, US, and the UK.
