ISQua accredits Temos standards on medical tourism

The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), has accredited Temos International Healthcare Accreditation standards “Quality in International Patient Care” and “Excellence in Medical Tourism” for hospitals and clinics worldwide.

Temos is the first international accreditation organisation to create standards specifically for international patients and medical travellers.

ISQua, is generally recognised as the ‘Accreditor of Accreditors’ offering a gold standard quality level for global accrediting organisations. With ISQua accreditation Temos now joins a small group of international accreditation organisations offering this high standard for hospitals and clinics that serve international patients.

ISQua’s International Accreditation Program provides worldwide recognition for accredited organisations that meet approved international standards. The accreditation of Temos’ standards demonstrates to hospitals, clinics, patients, insurance and self-insured companies, Ministries of Health and others that Temos-accredited providers pursue Continuous Quality Improvement and adhere to international best practices. Currently, Temos’ clients serve approximately 610,000 outpatients and 44,000 inpatients per month in more than 20 countries.
