Key global healthcare trends and their impact on medical travel

Dr Sneh Khemka, Global President of Population Health at Aetna International is one of the keynote speakers at the IMTJ Summit in Athens next week.

Dr Khemka will look at the advances in medicine across four common diagnostic areas covering cardio vascular disease, orthopaedic innovations, advances in bariatric surgery and choices for cancer therapy. He will consider how evolving lifestyles have changed the way we approach healthcare and highlight the opportunities for players in the medical travel market in this shifting world of medicine. He’s also planning to share some surprising patterns in the global flow of international patients.

Aetna International is one of the largest providers of international private medical insurance, serving more than 900,000 members worldwide, including expatriates, local nationals and business travelers. Their Population Health business helps governments and large organisations better manage the health of their populations, primarily through infrastructure development (major IT systems), clinical data analytics, health & disease management, and ultimately primary care.

Listen to his talk at the IMTJ Medical Travel Summit – 10am, Tuesday 22nd May, Wyndham Grand Hotel, Athens.
