The first medical tourism hotel to combine wellness travel and cosmetic surgery in Taiwan has opened in Taipei.

It offers health management, cosmetic surgery and wellness services in a hot spring spa, and hopes to be a medical tourism destination.

The Taipei Wellness Centre and Resort is funded by the Taipei City government and jointly operated by Beitou Health Management Hospital and the Hotel Royal Group.

The hotel took four years to build, and among the services offered are physical check-ups, health management, cosmetic surgery and hotel accommodation with hot spring baths. The hotel will offer complementary services such as advice on physical fitness and sleeping problems.
