New dental services in Cebu, Philippines

Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital has expanded the services offered by its wellness complex by adding a dental clinic. It now also houses a cosmetic surgery clinic.

It has launched medical tourism packages for overseas customers plus domestic medical tourists as CebuDoc gets patients from various parts of the country, especially from Visayas and Mindanao.

Other healthcare destinations for medical travellers to Cebu include Manila-based Ace Medical and Ayala Group’s QualiMed.

The Department of Tourism is pushing forward with efforts to put Cebu on the global map as a top health and wellness destination. The agency has partnered with the regional offices of the Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry and the private sector including Cebu’s hospitals, clinics, dental associations, hotels, and spas to achieve this goal.

The aim is to promote Cebu as offering a wide array of healthcare services for all, through the overall environment, tourism attractiveness, low healthcare cost, and quality of medical facilities and services.
