New HK hospital targets international patients

Healthcare services group Clearbridge Health is expanding its primary healthcare presence in Hong Kong with a new and larger clinic in Causeway Bay, to serve both domestic patients and medical tourists, particularly from mainland China.

The size of the new clinic is 1,500 square feet, almost twice the size of the previous clinic. It can accommodate more visiting physicians and specialists (such as obstetrician, gynaecologist and gastroenterology) and provide a wider range of medical and health screening services to meet the growing medical needs of this market segment.

“Hong Kong’s proximity to China has been a boost for medical tourism and with our collaborations with insurance companies and healthcare partners, we are seeing increasing demand for our primary healthcare services from this market segment,” said chief executive Jeremy Yee.
