Pakistan reopens for tourism and medical tourism

Travellers from all countries are permitted to visit Pakistan and for around 40 listed countries there is no need for quarantine or have any COVID tests.

For unlisted countries, travellers are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate no older than 96 hours from the time the test was taken to arriving in Pakistan.

Pakistan is trying to increase tourism and medical tourism. One specialty is hair transplants, where 2,400 medical tourists from Gulf countries, Europe, the USA, Afghanistan, and Australia visit Pakistan every year.
