Seven hospitals form alliance to attract medical tourists

The seven hospitals and clinics are:

  • Universal Eye Centre
  • Dianthus Medical Group
  • Taipei Beitou Health Promoting Hospital
  • Purple Sun Clinic
  • TDI Dental Clinic
  • Doctors' Doctor Clinic
  • Yuanli Clinic

They are working with Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to attract foreign clients and build an international image.

TAITRA is targeting medical tourists from China, Japan, Southeast Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand.

As a destination for people from China and Malaysia, Taiwan medical tourism is likely to increase, due to a wide range of services and high technology. View the IMTJ country report for further details about medical tourism in Taiwan.
