Cyprus Health Services Promotion Board

Association/cluster in Nicosia, Cyprus

Founded in 2006 on an initiative taken by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cyprus Health Services Promotion Board (CHPB) is a non-profit organisation that works to develop and promote Cyprus as a destination for health tourism.

All CHPB members are licensed by the Cyprus government and comply with EU regulations. Members include health and medical providers, medical facilitators and medical travel agencies, professional associations and governmental bodies. The majority of the island`s largest and best equipped hospitals are members, with some moving ahead to additionally gain international accreditation standards.

The CHPB supports its members to develop and promote the provision of health services in Cyprus and to develop solidarity and co-operation between members. The Board acts as a point of contact for patients seeking treatment in Cyprus and its website provides a wealth of information regarding Cyprus as a medical tourism destination, as well as acting as a portal to members` websites.
