The Turkish Healthcare Travel Council was formed in order to promote health tourism in Turkey and increase the efforts to bring health tourism to the country. The association has over 300 members, from hospitals and clinics to spas and hotels. With 144 network offices in 85 countries THTC is the largest healthcare association in the world. It is a founding member of the Global Healthcare Travel Council and has been commended for its efforts in the healthcare industry.
