Dr Ahmed Shamel is a Cairo-based Fertility Consultant offering personalised care to couples seeking to become parents. Welcoming patients from across the world and consulting in Arabic, English and French, he provides a comprehensive range of services, from fertility investigations and treatment through to antenatal care and birth.

Dr Shamel graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and undertook his Master’s degree and MD degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the same university. He is a Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Faculty of Medicine, New Giza University (a Partner of University College London), a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, UK and a Member of the General Medical Council (UK).

Dr Shamel’s two clinics are located in the heart of Cairo in Mohy El Din Abou El Ezz Street, Mohandessin and in the Twin Towers – Shiekh Zayed, a modern facility housing medical clinics and an upmarket choice of cafes and restaurants. Easily accessible by car or public transport, the clinic has parking, step-free access, wi-fi access and an on-site pharmacy.
