International Centre for Reproductive Medicine (ICRM) Infertility clinic in St Petersburg , Russia

The International Centre for Reproductive Medicine (ICRM) is a well-established and respected infertility clinic in St Petersburg, Russia, which was founded by Yuri Verlinsky, the inventor of pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. The clinic has overseen more than 15,000 babies born since its inception in 1992.

As one of the first IVF centres in Russia, ICRM has been actively involved in the expert work to develop and improve IVF medical care in the country from its very beginning. For example, ICRM was the first in the country to perform the ICSI procedure, to create an egg donor bank and to complete a successful surrogacy program.

Situated in a modern new facility, built in accordance with the latest international standards for medical clinics and laboratories, ICRM offers the most up-to-date assisted reproduction technologies and techniques from a highly qualified and experienced team led by Professor Vladislav Korsak, President of the Russian Association of Human Reproduction since 1995, Board Member of the International Association of Fertility Societies (IFFS) and the Russian representative on the International Committee for Monitoring Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ICMART). The ICRM laboratory successfully passed international auditing that confirmed that it meets the highest current international requirements.

Treatments available at ICRM include artificial insemination, IVF, IVF ICSI, genetic diagnostics (PGD, PGS), gynaecologic and urologic surgical procedures including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, sperm retrieval (TESE, MESE), egg and sperm donation, surrogacy and cryopreservation.

Success rates for IVF at ICRM compare very favourably with those in European countries and IVF prices are significantly lower than similar treatment packages in Europe and the United States.

ICRM is a member of a number of recognised professional bodies, including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE), International Society for Gynecologic Endocrinology (ISGE), European Cytogenetics Association (ECA) and European Association of Urology (EAU).
