Although state healthcare is average, over 90% of Georgia’s healthcare consists of private hospitals and clinics. There are 273 hospitals with 16,000 beds. Hospitals face problems in the raising of funds to invest in quality improvement or for the innovative development of medical services. One solution for these problems is to develop medical tourism in Georgia.
