Korea International Medical Association(KIMA) aim to persuade people to choose Korea as their medical travel destination. They are a government-run private initiative launched in 2007 under the name 'Council for Korea Medicine Overseas Promotion'. They serve as the acting body for national policies regarding health tourism. Their primary function is to promote Korea's healthcare internationally and foster safe, reliable infrastructures. Their are currently over 32 clinics/hospitals involved.
